Felicity & Noels Covid Walkabout Creek & Factory 51 Weddings

As everyone knows, many people had to postpone their 2020 wedding. For Felicity & Noel, they opted to change up their plans and spread it over two events. Still have a small intimate ceremony and be married, but put off the party and get to do wedding 2.0 in 2021. I’m a big believer in things happening for a reason, and I’m so glad that they decided to push on with their ceremony. In the 12 months to follow F&N would both lose a parent, making those photos and memories priceless. Wedding 1 was a relaxed beautiful ceremony led by celebrant Anna Bauer at Walkabout Creek. Followed by some photos and drinks, cake & celebrating on the deck, before sneaking off for some quick couple photos. Wedding 2.0 involved an extended family shoot at the Mt Coot-Tha Botanic Gardens followed by the reception at Factory 51 in Coorparoo. No one imagined that a year on we would still be restricted by Covid rules, but F&N were able to celebrate with a slightly smaller number than planned in a bigger fashion. Any talk of the C word was banned for the night, food was feasting style and dancing was encouraged (with masks). It might not have been exactly how they imagined, but it was beautiful, it was them, and now they can ride off into the sunset, or something.
