At Frankly Photography, we love telling stories and capturing moments that can be re-lived and remembered for a lifetime. Our style is unobtrusive, relaxed and journalistic. We offer gentle direction when it’s needed, but for the most part we want you to forget the cameras are there and truly celebrate with your family and friends.

When you look back on your wedding day, we don’t want you to remember being asked to hold awkward poses or feeling like portraits took you away from the party. We want you to remember laughter, happy tears, and real emotion - what your partner said, who was there, and what the day felt like.

We’re all about letting you do you. Whether your celebration is traditional, completely non-traditional, DIY, deeply meaningful, or something entirely your own - we’re here for it. To us, it’s simple: love is love.

Albums

Digital images are wonderful, but nothing compares to holding your story in print. A wedding album is often the first family heirloom — something to return to, share, and pass down.

Our fine art wedding albums are thoughtfully designed to tell the full story of your day, from the quiet moments through to the celebration. Once your gallery is delivered, we create an initial album design using the strongest images from your wedding. You’re then guided through a collaborative revision process, with the freedom to swap images, adjust layouts, or add pages.

Each album is professionally handcrafted using archival, museum-quality materials designed to last for generations.

Album features include:

• Fine art archival paper with long-lasting inks

• Seamless lay-flat binding for uninterrupted panoramic spreads

• Matte paper that won’t fade, yellow or discolour over time

• A range of cover options in leather or cloth, available in multiple colours

Questions?

How many photos will we receive?

The number of images varies depending on coverage time, locations, guest numbers and how the day unfolds. As a guide, you can expect a minimum of around 60 images per hour of coverage.

We don’t place a cap on the number of images delivered — you’ll receive all the best moments from your day, fully edited in both colour and black & white.

Will we receive high-resolution images? Can we print them ourselves?

Yes. All images are delivered in high-resolution and web-ready formats, ready for printing and sharing.

You’re welcome to print your images wherever you choose. Professional prints are also available through your online gallery if you’d like assistance — but there’s absolutely no obligation.

When will we receive our photos?

You’ll receive a small sneak peek within a few days of your wedding.

Full galleries are delivered within 4–6 weeks. We always aim to be quicker where possible, however this timeframe allows flexibility during busy periods. You’ll be kept updated along the way.

Do you travel?

Yes. Travel within 1 hour of Brisbane CBD is included.

For weddings outside this area — Australia-wide or internationally — please get in touch and we can discuss travel arrangements.

Do we need to provide a meal?

Yes, a vendor meal is appreciated for full-day coverage. Weddings are long days, and this allows your photographer to stay energised and working at their best through the reception and dancing.

Most venues offer vendor meals at a reduced rate if you ask.

Do you photograph LGBTQIA+ weddings?

Absolutely. Love is love, and we proudly celebrate and welcome all couples.

We’re nervous / we don’t know how to pose — help!

You’re not alone - most couples feel this way. Our approach is relaxed and natural, with gentle guidance where needed so nothing feels forced or awkward.

If you’d like a confidence boost beforehand, a couples session is a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and experience how we work.

How do we book?

To secure your date, simply get in touch to check availability. A 25% non-refundable booking fee and signed booking agreement are required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due closer to your wedding date.
