Bree + Oli's Fig Tree Wedding, Byron Bay

Oh my heart! Not only was it stunningly beautiful, with some of the most touching words spoken and sentimental touches but the bride Bree and I go way back, which always makes it that little bit more special to capture. I had to hide those tears behind the camera often that’s for sure!

Bree and Oli have one of those lovely ‘whoops we did it backwards’ stories, finding out they were pregnant with gorgeous little Arden and then choosing to marry when he was old enough to be part of their day (or steal the show, deciding it was a great idea to hand rocks to Dad during the ceremony!) Their love for each other and their little boy shone so brightly all day.

Bree and her awesome bridal party got ready at in The Garden Burees of Byron Bay, while the groomsmen spent the morning on site at Fig Tree. Oli, being from England had family, including some of his groomsmen fly over for the wedding. His Mum giving him special gifts from relatives at home before the ceremony and explaining their importance was the sweetest.

Bree arrived, Byron style, in a funky forever kombi and was walked down the isle by her two bridesmaids, bridesmale and her Dad. A simple yet stunning ceremony followed by canapes and drinks for the guests while we stuck off to a nearby location for photos and then back to join guests for the party! As the sun went down guests were serenaded by the unbelievably talented Hailey Calvert and then enjoyed a festival style feast, tear-jerking speeches, first dance under the stars (and sparklers) many laughs in the Frankly booth and one heck of a dance off.

Oh what a night! Congratulations Bree & Oli & Arden!
